Boody Eco Wear

June 10, 2017

I have a real underwear issue. I never find comfy undies that breath and don’t feel like I have something up my butt. I am not into g-strings or thongs or that feeling of feeling uncovered. Yes, I like granny pants. Or, what would be considered granny pants in this day and age. A basic brief. I tried ordering cotton ones on Amazon but they quickly fell apart and the color (black) faded. They are hideous. When I heard about the Boody Eco Wear line organic collection of natural fibers undies, tanks and tops, I perked up.

I know about Bamboo fabric – that it is naturally temperature regulating, meaning if you are cold, it keeps you warm and if you are hot it cools you down. It’s also naturally sweat wicking – an incredible alternative to synthetic fabrics. Better for the body and the environment. I could not wait to try them.

Let’s just say, I’m obsessed. I have not had them long so I need to see how they wash, wear and hold up over time, but they felt like heaven from the moment I put them on. I did not get the real granny waist high ones but the Hipster Bikini, a mid-brief and they are absolutely perfect.

They are only 9.95 so you can stock the heck up. I am!

Silky Soft

Never has ecowear been so luxurious. Boody is as soft as your favorite pajamas, but performs as high quality activewear.

Boody makes tops, leggings, tanks, socks and a line for men and babies – overall the pieces are perfect for stretching, easy hiking/walking or yoga and of course – just wearing.

Thermo-Regulating

Stay cool in the summer and warm in winter, without bulk. Bamboo fiber is lighter and softer than cotton and perfect for layering.

Anti-Static

No one likes being clingy. Unlike traditional cotton basics, Boody will keep its distance as bamboo fibers prevent static build-up.

The story begins with the bamboo. Made from organic toxic free bamboo plants, Boody bamboo is sustainable and requires much less water than cotton plants. Even the box is recycled and printed with vegetable-based ink!

BODY VIBES Smart Stickers

May 28, 2017

“The universe doesn’t speak English, Chinese, or Spanish;
it speaks frequencies.”

Body Vibes are smart stickers programmed to deliver natural bio-frequencies through energy resonant exchange to optimize brain and body functions, restore missing cell communication, and accelerate the body’s natural ability to heal itself.

Body Vibes work by targeting the Central Nervous System, a hub of energy powered by a network of electrical signals that vibrate along our nerves. It controls everything we do, including our responses to pleasure and pain. The bio-frequencies programmed into Body Vibes mimic the same frequencies that are already found in our body. For this reason, they are able to travel across our electrical pathways, replenishing any deficiencies and raising our vibration to the perfect frequency. We recommend wearing Body Vibes daily for at least one month to experience a positive energy shift that sparks the body’s amazing ability to heal from within.

MEET THE FOUNDERS:

Leslie was introduced to bio-frequency technology through her husband, who was suffering from Rheumatoid Arthritis. He was a given non-chemical frequency patch to manage his pain, an application that provided tremendous relief without the side effects. As fortune would have it, the technology covered a wide range of health concerns that included anxiety, which Leslie had been living with since childhood.

“It was such a blessing to find something that controlled my anxiety and brought my system back into balance,” said Leslie. “I was prescribed Ativan for my anxiety, and although it helped, it carried many side effects. The frequency stickers slowly rebooted my nervous system, giving me the space to regain my perspective and equilibrium.”

She introduced the frequency technology to her business partner, Madison, who had been dealing with shoulder pain for years. She tried the pain relief frequency, and was amazed at how much better she felt afterward. Madison then shared the technology with her sister, who, at the time, was taking anti-anxiety medication to manage her severe anxiety. She now uses several of the stickers regularly as an alternative to her prescription medication.

Leslie and Madison knew they had to share this technology with their clientele, but wanted to do so in a way that connected more with today’s culture. They partnered with Bio-Energy Synthesis Technology developer Richard Eaton of AlphaBio Centrix to create a line of fashionable, wearable smart stickers. Thus Body Vibes was born.

With all the positive feedback and heartfelt testimonials received since its inception, Leslie and Madison are excited to finally share Body Vibes with the rest of the world. Their collective dream is to have everyone vibing at the perfect frequency.

   YES ! Energy frequency stickers.

The color blue is blue, because it has the specific frequency that makes it blue. We are able to hear sounds because our bodies have the ability to translate frequencies into sounds that make sense to us. It’s the same way we form visual images. Our bodies are natural energy sources; we absorb and generate energy.

All of our bodies operate at an optimal internal frequency – a sweet spot in the neighborhood of 62-72Hz. Studies have shown that when your frequency slips, your immune system is compromised, which opens the door to getting sick. In fact, scientists have discovered a frequency for virtually every known illness. Can’t shake that cold or flu? You’re down in the 57-60Hz range, a danger zone where you’re also more vulnerable to disease.

And, in collaboration with celebrity holistic nutritionist, Elissa Goodman, Body Vibes just launched the Elissa Goodman Detox 10-Pack (5 Detox and 5 Hydrate) | Retail $68 https://www.shopbodyvibes.com/variety-packs/elissa-goodmans-detox-10-pack

Hydrate: Bio-frequencies stabilize negative ions, balances PH, hydrates and aids absorption. Water helps circulates electrolytes which in turn transports glucose and amino acids in and out of cells.  Feel refreshed!  ‘

Detox: Detoxification frequencies help with reducing toxic substances in the body.  Natural frequencies of lemon, apple cider vinegar, cucumbers and watermelon.  Clean living!

TUTUBLUE EXPANDS PRODUCT LINE IN TIME FOR MELANOMA MONDAY

April 19, 2017

TUTUBLUE

OK – you know this!

Melanoma is the deadliest form of skin cancer, and according to the Skin Cancer Foundation: An estimated 87,110 new cases of invasive melanoma will be diagnosed in the U.S. in 2017. An estimated 9,730 people will die of melanoma in 2017. The majority of melanomas are caused by the sun. Sun protective apparel is the best way to protect yourself from the sun.

TUTUBLUE, founded by actress Sarah Buxton after a scare with melanoma, has recently expanded to offer even more options for active outdoor enthusiasts to stay protected from the sun’s harmful rays while outside.

Buxton launched the brand with an original full-body women’s beach suit offering complete neck-to-ankle 50+ UPF protection in 2016. After appearing on ABC’s Shark Tank, Buxton secured a partnership with sun protective clothing pioneer Sun Protection Zone, which has allowed her to expand the collection to include leggings and rash guards for men, women and children just in time for Melanoma Monday on May 1st.

There is so many cute options to choose from! Leggings, wet suits – the works.

In 2015, Buxton noticed a strange spot on her hand just before an audition. After getting it checked out, she was diagnosed with melanoma. The melanoma was successfully surgically removed, but her doctors advised her not to go back in the sun or risk a melanoma recurrence.

As an active native Southern Californian who loves the beach and outdoors, she had a hard time accepting this advice and while still in the hospital recovering from surgery, conceptualized the idea for a full-coverage sun protective suit she could wear outside. She launched the brand with the signature full-body women’s suits in early 2016 on Shark Tank. Although she didn’t get a deal on the show, her phone started ringing with offers from investors and potential partners.

The suits are beautiful, comfortable, fun, functional and provide the ultimate protection from the sun while still being lightweight, breathable and offering fast-drying and cooling properties. While the cuts and construction support athletic activity, the silhouettes are form fitting and flattering.

The surf-friendly long-sleeved one piece is the cornerstone of the collection offering a complete coverage alternative to applying sunscreen. The short one-piece offers a slightly less conservative look and the highly versatile leggings offer stylish sun protection for watersports while transcending seamlessly from the beach to yoga or other fitness and lifestyle activities. Rashguards have been added allowing consumers to mix and max the pieces, and styles are also now available for children and men.

5 Fashion Subscription Boxes You Need To Know About

April 7, 2017

We’ve all been there. We’ve stood in our closets, sighing, wondering why it’s so hard to get dressed every day. Maybe nothing fits, or perhaps we’re bored with what we have. We want to be able to effortlessly pull together a fabulous outfit, but we can’t figure out how. Sometimes, seeing the same articles of clothing over and over make us lose creativity. All we need is a little push to get back on our fashion game. Subscription boxes are some of the best ways to build up a new wardrobe that pushes us to the edges of our comfort zones and lets us express our true sense of style. Opening up a subscription box is like having a birthday party more than just once a year.

Stitch Fix

Stitch Fix gives you the benefit of having a personal stylist shop for you while you don’t do a thing. You simply create a profile that gives the stylist an idea of what you’re looking for and how much you want to spend. Five articles of clothing are sent to you every month. If you don’t keep anything, you pay a $20 styling fee. The styling fee is applied to any clothing that you choose to buy.

Fabletics

This fitness apparel company offers subscription boxes for $49.95 to $59.95 a month. Each month’s box contains a curated athleisure outfit that includes two or three pieces. Fabletics’ leggings are thick and provide the perfect amount of compression to give you a perfect silhouette. The tops made by Fabletics are functional. They are ideal to wear for a workout, and they also have unexpected details that transform them into items that you can wear for every casual occasion. You can skip a month at any time, and you don’t pay for the months that you skip.

Elizabeth & Clarke

If you don’t need new clothes every month, a quarterly subscription box might be preferable. Elizabeth & Clarke sends designer-quality shirts and blouses to your doorstep every quarter for $60 a box. This is a great subscription service to help you break out of the habit of buying the same T-shirt in every color.

Golden Tote

Golden Tote gives you the chance to order a monthly box that includes some surprise items and some items that you select. That gives you the chance to experience that thrill that comes with opening an unexpected gift while still staying in control of what you order. It’s an excellent way to gradually broaden your scope of style.

Wantable

With this monthly subscription box, you can choose from style, fitness, makeup, men’s fitness or intimates categories. Once you decide on a category, you’ll get a box of surprise goodies every month. The fitness and style boxes work like Stitch Fix. You only pay the styling fee if you don’t keep any items. With the other boxes, you pay a set amount up front. However, if you don’t like something that you receive, you can always return it.
