DISNEY CHANNEL AND DISNEY XD STARS CELEBRATE SECOND ANNUAL DISNEY READS DAY AT GLENDALE GALLERIA DISNEY STORE: The official Disney Reads Day kick-off Saturday, Feb. 4, from 9:45 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The official Disney Reads Day kick-off Saturday, Feb. 4, from 9:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is hosted by a royal visitor from Avalor and will feature celebrities reading to children from the local Boys & Girls Club and store patrons.

Join the likes of celebrities Steven Spielberg, Kerry Washington, Pink, Viola Davis and others, to activate a one-for-one book donation by posting a “Shelfie” – a selfie with their favorite book – on Twitter or Instagram using #magicofstorytelling. For every book purchased at Disney Store or a participating retailer Disney will donate a book with the eventual aim of one million books donated.

Disney’s Magic of Storytelling campaign, an ongoing initiative aimed at inspiring imagination and a lifelong love of reading, comes to life on the second annual Disney Reads Day on February 4, 2017. Now through March 31, Disney will donate one book for every book purchased at Disney Store or a participating retailer. Participants can also activate a one-for-one book donation by posting a “Shelfie” – a selfie with their favorite book in front of a bookshelf – on Twitter or Instagram using #magicofstorytelling.

Encouraging families to drop everything, grab a book and read together or independently, Disney Reads Day is a multi-city celebration and will host its Los Angeles-area event at the Disney Store at the Glendale Galleria. A Disney “royal guest of honor” will welcome children from local Boys & Girls Clubs during the store’s opening ceremony. The surprise guest and stars from Disney Channel and Disney XD will lead live readings in-store all day.

The program kicked off this month with a PSA narrated by Emma Watson, star of The Walt Disney Studios’ upcoming film “Beauty and the Beast,” coming to theaters on March 17.

Target/Anna Kaiser Bring Free Workouts To Los Angeles To Celebrate C9 Champion Limited Edition by Anna Kaiser

To kick off 2017, Target is casting aside all the ‘typical resolutions’ and instead focusing on being HAPPY by partnering with celebrity trainer Anna Kaiser to introduce C9 Champion Limited Edition by Anna Kaiser. The first design partnership for C9 Champion is now available in select Target locations as well as on Target.com. WOOT!!!

To celebrate the launch and help guests embrace healthy living at a critical time, Target will be bringing Anna’s fun, playful workout to Los Angeles!

As part of a greater tour hitting select cities across the country, the Happier, Healthier You event will offer Anna’s Happy Hour dance-based interval class to the public for free on a first-come, first-served sign-up basis.

The pop-up studio, located in the Target Culver City Parking Lot, will feature 12 open workout classes throughout two days, and the C9 Champion Limited Edition by Anna Kaiser collection will be newly showcased in-store along with other Target wellness products for guests’ shopping convenience. We danced our asses off last night!

Vince Camuto celebrated the holidays with an exclusive girls only dance party at The A List, hosted by all my severe girl crushes: Erin Foster, Nathalie Love, Kelly Oxford, and Sasha Spielberg. Guests mingled and danced to music by DJs Kitty Ca$h and Kidada Jones while previewing the latest Vince Camuto styles for the upcoming holiday and awards season. This was such a bevvy of goodness. The music was on point (I’m a DJ snob having been one for many years), our hosts were delightful, and the A List was LIT in every way from food to decor to gorgeous holiday atmosphere.

I walked into the chic boutique of ALO Yoga studio in Beverly Hills on Tuesday evening to attend the gorgeous launch of YUNI BEAUTY and was blown away. YUNI BEAUTY is a beauty line, inspired by the athleisure movement, offering “mindful beauty for an active life.” I had the pleasure of getting a first hand tour of each product from Emmanuel Rey, the founder himself, with much in-depth description and yummy sampling!

My stand out favorites were the SHOWER SHEETS; perfect for a post yoga session or workout wipe down (when your yoga studio has no shower available!) that smell incredibly clean, packed with essential oils AND the WIND-DOWN WONDER, a delicious warming body oil spray I used last night straight out of the bath; the perfect thing to send me off into blissful sleep!
