I had a great sweat the other day. The place is totally gorgeous. The sweat is not at crazy as Shape House and feels very different as you are not in the tight blanket. It’s more of a post gym type of sweat or the kind I would love to own in my home. Many people do!

Facile Dermatology – Vanessa Lee, RN, for a refreshed 2018 face

Nothing like a refreshed face for 2018. And hella yass, did I need it. Like so many of us, 2017 left me haggard, depressed and angry. I think I aged ten years. I needed a serious pick me up for my face (body and soul – working on SOUL with goddess meditation guide Kelly Morris of THE INFINITY CALL, more on her daily live mediation call in for women only, soon!! I headed over to the gorgeous little hide-away, Facile Dermatology where Vanessa, in less than 30 minutes, gave me a little overhaul. As you know, I am very natural (for someone who makes treatment plans and tries all the latest techniques). I look like your average mid-40’s working ass mother fucker. I am not fancy. I do not wear much make up. I keep it REAL AF. No fish lips. No chipmunk cheeks. No Beverly Hills housewife bullshit. 

Vanessa addressed my loss of volume and welp, falling cheeks. She added a little Voluma for the cheeks and Vollure for nasal labia folds and Botox, here and there. What a difference. Obvi. I am bat shit in love with the Voluma and Vollure. Mostly because I can’t even tell what she did. I just look….BETTER.

Last year, this time, I was Dr. Talei getting my Profound treatment before heading to Ojai for a very private spa retreat at The Oaks Spa. That is what I call a perfect Thanksgiving week.

Fall is the perfect time for a deep, restorative peel for obvious reasons. Fresh skin, no more beach, etc. I did my peel on Saturday – today is Wednesday. It’s a super easy, little down time peel. And the little down time is mild. On day three I peeled a little bit, today, day four, more dry skin peeling, but nothing major. I imagine I will be done peeling by Friday, day four. This is for sure the most mild peel I have had. I have had peels where I look like I fell out of an airplane – just full on raw, red skin and what looked like I might never heal. Major burns. This feels safe and I am free of that “holy shit, I’m scarred for life” anxiety. It’s hard to tell what my skin will look like, but for now things look clear and rosy. Ideally, a series of four is recommended.

In a few days, my summer skin will start peeling and in one week I will go to GLOW!
