I love sugar. I love gluten.

So why do I still go all ga-ga over wheat free, sugar free, gluten free, raw foods and the like?

Maybe because I can have my cake and eat it too? Yah! That's it!

When I heard about ELNA LEONARDO'S latest venture into artisan baking with natural and organic ingredients like almond flour, pure birch tree sugar and that she hand makes the yogurt (patiently fermented for 24 hours) that goes into her muffin loaves – I knew I had to go on a sampling spree of these goodies. It doesn't hurt that that they are especially designed for the health conscious, gluten free savvy consumer. So if you have gluten intolerance, wheat allergies, celiac, diabetes, calorie intake concerns or are on a candida cleanse – these treats are right up your alley.

And here's the deal. They are YUMMY BEYOND!!!!!

I had a mini GREEN TEA COCOA CHIP MUFFIN LOAF and a BLONDE COCOA CHIP MUFFIN LOAF.

And when I say 'had' I mean, ate the whole thing within minutes of their arrival (ok, almost all, I do wanna save some for my 4 year old…she'll go nuts for them, after all they do have chips -unsweetened dark cacao nibs- in them).

Oh darn!! I should have taken a pic before I ripped open the lovely packaging!!

Next time, I'm just going to order one of each flavor (Cinnamon, Brunette Cocoa - both with or without chips, Espresso Cocoa Chip and Matcha Green Tea) because they are all so special, unique, made with love (you can feel it, I mean it!) and really guilt free.

With summer vacation just around the corner, now is the time to experiment with a fresh, new nail color. I’m giving my favorite “greige” polish some long overdue time off (specifically OPI’s You Don’t Know Jacques!) and hitting the beach this month with a bright,

bold pop of color. Behold, Chanel’s summer collection of Le Vernis Nail Colour. The colors are Mistral (soft pink), Riviera (intense pink) and, my favorite, Nouvelle Vague (turquoise). A refreshing Andy Warholesque shade of pastel aqua-blue with just a hint of shimmer – and a hint of 1980’s glam — this is one of my favorite shades by Chanel, EVER.

Watch out beach, my freshly pedicured toes are sure to make a splash.
