I mean, have you never seen a pair of these on someone at Whole Foods, Urth Cafe or stacked in the take your shoes off before you go to yoga class area? Maybe at your kids preschool?

This amazing do-gooder company really has an eye for fashion.

I saw those fab gray wedges on a stylish beauty/fashion PR friend and was like:

MUST. HAVE. NOW.

Saw them selling them at America Rag on Le Brea but you find them everywhere.

Flippin out over my new FitFlop Mukluks. Fashion meets Fitness – Say whaaa?!!

It's true. They say right there on the Fit Flop website "Warning our Mukluks are addictive" and they are soooo right it's ridic.

My tall Smoke Grey pair arrived by mail this morn, I tried them on at 9 am, and now it's 9:41 pm I am finally taking them off. But it's only because I want to go to bed. They've felt literally like wearing air all day. No, like walking on clouds! But clouds with major ergonomic support. And then there's the whole fit flop science behind them (read below) that actually makes them serious working shoes!

Uh sorry, can you tell me what shoe on the planet you can wear on Day One for several walking hours and forget to take off?? Yah, it's nuts.

Ok, then there's the irresistible fashion part. ( I've been know to "pass along" toss several ugly exercise sneakers I've been given in the past. ) They are fricken cool. Waaayy cooler then Uggs. for so many reasons. Starting with, they are NOT Uggs. Next is the cool biased cut along the top on and the best part is the hippie throw back to the earth show sole which is over the top retro chic. Trust me. These are the Uggs of te future.

On top of being insanely comfy they put your legs to work!! (more on the technology below) even though you have no idea anythings happening cuz its like walking on clouds. So you're gonna look chich, a little retro hippie heel going on AND you're gonig to tone up your legs? Yah, sorry, bye Uggs :(.

Grey clouds never looked so good.

Shellac Nails Really Work – Got mine at Plush Beauty Bar and I’m hooked.

Love mani's. Go ga-ga over polish. Hate the chipping.

Therefore manis for me are purely for grooming. I forgo the polish, get a buffing instead and leave the salon looking forlornly at the latest shades that I always pass up because it'll be chipping off within hours in the life of this mom of two.

That was until I was introduced ( by the awesome Plush Beauty Bar team) to Shellac Nails.

This soak-off (ok, I peeled it off) glassy gel mani sounded too good to be true:

does not damage the nailbed
emits no harmful fumes or chemicals
lasts for up to two weeks without chipping
and has a beautiful, natural, smooth, thin texture.

It was even featured in the New York Times!

And guess what?

LOVED IT.

The color selection was not nearly as wide as the latest from OPI, obvi, but I had a steely gray applied (for $34) and a perfect mani was all mine, chip-free for over two weeks.

Today it finally started to peel a bit. I caught a peel-wave and by the end of one red light on route to a kiddie b-day party I had peeled all ten fingers off. No polish remover!

My nails looked a little dry after, but some great hand-cream came to the rescue and now all good. I cannot believe I can actually have polish on my nails now! It's a whole new world. Whoo hoo!

It it really does take a village to get groomed when you have a new baby (or toddler) which is why I'm groovin big time over Plush Beauty Bar for Moms.

There IS a way to have your cake and eat it too this Thanksgiving. And ever day there-after.

In the land of the Thin and Thinner it's just plain unfair when you need to make love to a pint of ice-cream once in a while like all normal people who use food to de-stress, but the morning after self-loathing is just…too…much. Have you been to Equinox? It's like an open call for a fitness infomercial. You wanna keep up? Then get yourself to therapy or O.A. if you think you can spiral that out of control as to down a pint of ice-cream to wash away the disappointment of blowing that audition, again. Nope, in this town you have to be on top of your game at all times. You use you lose. And not weight, but that job, that guy, that opportunity that was given to the skinny girl. (Uh, this is sounding really personal…hmm…wonder why).

Which totally sucks.

We may live in L.A. but we are human after all. And part of being human is sitting in front of the t.v. and downing a pint of ice-cream while watching "In Treatment" or "The League" and not giving a flying shit about anything. Good luck, right?

Until now.

Cuz there's ARCTIC ZERO.

The frozen dessert that's 150 calories a pint.

I told Vital Juice about this a few months ago and ever since then Erewhon has been stocking up on all the flavors. (Hands down it's Cookies and Cream, Coffee and Mint Chocolate).

This stuff is GOOOD. Does it taste like Ben and Jerry's? What do you think?

Does it do the job and then some? Yes.

OH! And it's healthy. As in no fat, protein rich, high fiber, low glycemic, lactose free, gluten free and I cannot believe it's taken this long to create something like this. WTF?!
