The other day I popped into Belle Visage Day/Medical Spa in Studio City for their new signature facial called the Dermafile facial.   No one else in LA is doing this treatment.

Belle Visage is co-owned by celeb facialist Tina Keshishian.  Tina's been Kirsten Dunst’s facialist since she was 12, and did such amazing work on her skin, that the actress’s mom, Inez, became Tina’s business partner.

Word.

The DERMAFILE FACIAL exfoliates the skin using a stainless steel hand piece with a crushed diamond Flat tip leaving skin looking and feeling smoother instantly.  Unlike Mircodermabrasion, this wider, flat head gets into every crack and wrinkle.  Sweet.

Tina is my new facial crush.  She's been doing skin since she was…16.  Yah.  A skin-o-phile.  My kind of lady.

This facial is awesome.  Tina's an extracting GODDESS.  She knows her shizzaz about all things skin.  Period.

And when she then went on to ZAP (called LamProbe) every pesky little red broken cappillary on my entire chest, neck and of course, face…well, I was in love.   This was truly a high point in my life.  I had no idea I could get rid of those freaky little red bubbles in less than, what, two minutes?  They have been multiplying like wild fire and totally freaking me out.  I still cannot believe they are gone!  Zapped into the ether, never to return!!  WTF?!

The LamProbe helps to remove those unsightly minor skin irregularities like whiteheads (milias), blackheads (comedones), fibromas(pigmented epidermal growths), broken capillaries, pimples, blood spots and skin tags that are prevalent on the neck and decollete area.  The LamProbe works on the principle of liquids being attracted to heat which is released by various probes.  Treatments are very quick (some within a few seconds), and may not even touch the skin’s surface. Small skin tags or blood spots disappear immediately and hyperpigmented areas such as liver or “age spots” take only a few seconds. There is minimal discomfort and healing time is short, from a day or two for skin tags to a few weeks for larger skin abnormalities such as fibromas.
