every few months i get…sorta…fatish. there's a pesky 7 to 8 pounds that loves to visit, hang out on my tummy, ass and thighs, and like relatives i just can't get rid of, never seem to want to leave.
and that's when it becomes time for drastic measures. i try to cut back on all the things that got me to this place, but i'm on such an eating riff by this point, i simply cannot do it alone.
when i heard the brilliant weight loss/management doctor, Dr. Sheila Hughes, a 30 year Bariatric medicine vet (formerly of Medizone) opened a new practice – i obviously followed her there. this woman knows her way around a woman's (or mans, obviously) metabolism, hormones, body issues and food frenzies. she is sort of like, well, god for me, because in ten days, i went from being a plumpette – to looking sorta decent on the red carpet. and i mean that totally seriously, as i had really less than 10 actually, more like 6 days to loose a solid 5 pounds before heading off to Sundance to promote a film i was in.
Dr. Hughes put me on a solid food plan asap along with appetite suppressing supplements in small does (2 a day) and some other healthy supplements, vitamins and a nice injection of B12 with some other lovely things in it(aminno acids, vitamins). the eating plan is strict though not nearly as restrictive as Medizone and even though i only more or less followed it to the tee, it fricken worked.
i will say that i could not do it without the appetite suppressants and without Dr. Hughes' amazing support and plan. if you need to lose, lose now, and lose for real (no pussy footin around) – this way is a no brainer. it's not easy peasy magic – you gotta work, but she makes it all the easier, more sensible and healthier, than if i was to do some crazy crash bulldinky dieting on my own. which would never work anyway.

i am terrified of my new baby – my mac book pro – getting banged up. this means i needed a serious case to schlep it to work everyday.
enter: BOMBATA's classic case. so many colors to choose from! i went for the navy. but the grey looks pretty great too. or one of the brights.
it's a serious, sturdy motha. cannot wait to load it up!
it's made of vinyl and silicon handles and the cool part is that the Classic Bombata case has plenty of folders and pockets to store extra items, such as documents, folders and laptop cables. this is VERY good, cuz my old little zip thing from the apple store didn't hold jack.
