look what's being offered at Yoshi Hair Studio!
Founder Yoshi Hagiwara will be giving one-on-one blow dry classes where he will show the client step by step instructions on how to get the perfect blowout with their individual hair type. I know there is a whole blow dry bar boom happening (including Yoshi Hair Studio with Haute Air located inside the salon offering $35 blowdrys), but this is unique in that you get an individual class and for those who don't want to spend the $35-$40 on regular blow outs, this is a less expensive alternative.
Perfect for someone who doesn't really know how to do a great blowout on themselves but really wants to learn. (i personally suck at blowing. uh.  that sounded weird).

The class is $150 and includes the best brush for them, one product to finish the look, and time with Yoshi. 

Yoshi Hair Studio, in Beverly Hills. Located right on Canon Dr. (conveniently located across from a parking structure, for those of you familiar with the area) the salon is warm, welcoming, busy, yet intimate all at the same time. i need to start this post with one word:

$60.

yup, you heard me.

$60 for THE BEST. ROBE. EVER.

some women are obsessed with shoes. i'm obsessed with robes. especially hotel robes. and i've been trying to find that perfect hotel robe ever since my last great hotel heist a few years ago (hotel location undisclosed for obvious reasons).  it wasn't too thick, but nice and lovely and light lined with a smooth, thin terry that totally did the trick to get my perfect dry, in it's post shower snuggle.  

don't get me wrong, it wasn't one of those frou-frou thin-wannabe-cover-ups. no, no, it had all the oversize yumminess of one of those fat oversize monstrosities that do nothing for those extra 8 5 pounds. even in the small size, it was plenty over size and the saddest part it, it was so thrashed, i had to trash it for fear my husband might…well…leave me.  it was that used and abused.

imagine my sheer joy when i discovered, upon some serious online research THE ROBE!!!!! i remember i had a brilliant robe from Turkey once, so that's where i started my search – this led me to:

in fact, this is the kinda thinkg where you buy 5 and just dole them out on birthdays (then again, they are half off now, obviously when they go back to normal process you might not rack up 5 at a time.

i feel so head over heels in love with this entire website of robes, i sent it around to all my friends. and now, of course, i'm psyched to share it with you.
