i'm a spin snob. as a very early adapter, (i'm talking, helloo Johnny G territory ) and former instructor, i can sniff out a good teacher from a bad, a smart and safe class from a piece of crap within minutes.

i've been trying to get to Cycle House for ages, but with a hip replacement re-do and a couple of other hip surgeries, spinning was off my radar for a while.

well, i'm back. and Jason's class is no fucking joke. the studio is wild. no window, no light, in fact, the keep the room pitch black except for some LED candles.  hmm, i'm a real natural light and fresh air person. i thought, no way, this is not going to work for me.  even though i taught a wicked candle light spin class at Body and SOul back in the day, the no air thing is very challenging for this total claustro.  

the class was so fucking good, it didn't even bother me. Jason was smart, savvy, perfectly positioned and postured (a former dancer), the music was wisely programmed and uplifting and hot and sexy and not annoying and loud as hell which i love.

and then there was a little light weight arm section. it was kicking my ass i was in heaven. Jason had the talk to, the perfect mixture of hardcore inspiration, humor and fun.  my god, i'm fricken addicted.

he was incredible and i cannot wait to take Jason's other classes too – he seems to have all kinds of awesome things coming down the pike.
