I have needed a watch for…EVER.  Having to reach for my iphone when I want to know what time it is has become a time-guzzling annoyance. I end up losing ten minutes every time doing iphone crap like checking my social media feeds, email and who knows what else.  Still, it never made sense to invest in a new watch, when my cell/clock was right there/  This started to bum me out.  Isn't it enough that my iphone has now made my land line extinct – does it have to ruin it for the watch lovers in the hizzy? I love watches, that's all there is too it, so it was time so to speak, to indulge myself.

As a busy working mom of two little ones, our schedules live and die by the clock, so really, being on time is not an indulgence. (My awesome rationale, right?!)

When the Jorg Gray line was introduced to me, I first thought, oh cool! – I love, love, love the look of a super masculine, sporty number on me.  Always have. The more it looks  like I'm on my way to fight crime, possibly in a wet suit, perhaps in a submarine, the better.  I was salivating over all the chunky men's timepieces I found on the website.  Like these guys:

It wasn't long before I realized that OBAMA WEARS THIS BRAND (!!!) that I thought this watch shopping is about to get real, yo.  I was a bit too excited.

I love the giant white face and gold touches – what gives it a bit of sportiness is the sturdy, thick black rubber band.  It looks fantastically sexy with the crisp white oxford baggy denim slightly rolled and major heels.  

I only take it off to sleep and shower.  I've had it for two weeks and it's really been a game changer.  I needed this.  No more reaching for my phone to check the time, and wasting ten minutes of my life doing nonesense  - when all I wanted to know is: WHAT THE TIME IS!
