Lets start with the trimmer. Once I fired this baby up I knew I was in for a treat. I’ll admit, its been a while since I’ve run an electric razor across my face. I do wear a beard. I’ve worn one for many years now. I like to tell my friends, before it was “trendy” and definitely well before it was acceptable to grow one so bushy it looks like it harbors its own ecosystem. Rather than shave my Orson Welles into a Vandyke, I tested the shaver using the foils on my cheeks and neck and employed the trimmer to clean up my beard. I have to say it felt much better than using the partially rusty, bacteria-tinged razor in my medicine cabinet. It was also neat, as in I looked down and was astonished to not see one speck of hair on the edge of or in the sink. Magical.

With my beard looking almost perfect, I popped opened the Jack Black Double-Duty Face Moisturizer, squeezed a generous dollop onto my fingers and lathered it into my cheeks, onto my forehead and all over neck. This stuff smells manly! I rarely use facial cream, but the fact that this moisturizer smells like it has balls and has built-in SPF 20 sunscreen, I’ll use it everyday. It was only a few weeks ago I was poking and prodding at a mole on my face that looked like it was growing into the big C. False alarm, but I can now feel at ease in the L.A. sun, smell good and not have skin flakes in my beard, all thanks to the union of these two mannish-boy products.
