As you can imagine, my IN BOX gets flooded with exciting events, invites and all kinds of juicy fashion, beauty and all things style related tid-bits.
Here's one from my dear friend the fabulista interior designer Molly Luetkmeyer about her tastemaker sale on One Kings Lane.
If you know Molly's work – then you'll be clicking around like crazy – credit card in hand.
If you don't know Molly, take a peek at her work…and…drool… (or weep in my case). Seriously, her eye for design is literally the most amazing I have ever seen and looking at the homes she's designed depresses me because I want to be living in them NOW.
Here's what was in my IN BOX.
Hello everyone!
I thought I’d give you a heads up that I am doing one of the tastemaker tag sales on One Kings Lane this weekend. If you are not familiar with them, here’s the skinny: One King’s Lane asks select designers to collect a trove of objects that reflects their design sensibility and then sell them on the okl website. All of the items are at least 30% less than retail (sometimes as much as 70% off) and are unique pieces. Since they are all one-of-a-kind, if you like it, you should grab it before someone else does. my sale goes live on Saturday morning at 8am pst and stays up through Tuesday at 8am pst. Here’s a link to the preview (if you are not already a member, you have to sign up for a free membership to view and purchase stuff.):

The other development on this end is that I have begun blogging. Every day I write about something cool that has inspired me and give design tips and on Tuesdays, I answer readers questions. I'd love any feedback if you have two seconds to check it out – www.mollyloot.com.

CANDLES, CANDLES, CANDLES!!!
I consider candles ENVIRONMENT GROOMING.
The right scented candle can really create the right vibe. TATINE CANDLES
understands this.
I have one of the GARDEN FOREST INFUSIONS burning right now. Potent enough to transport me to a garden in the South of France in the
springtime, but subtle enough that I don't feel like I'm sitting here, well, smelling a
candle all day. I also love the look of the dark green heavy glass. Simple and beautiful.
I'm demanding with my scented candles. I want them to smell
great AND look great too. It's an added plus that all of
these candles are handmade, the fragrances are blended by hand for each batch and made with love.
The
award winning packaging is made from 100% recylceled material. The glassware is made from 40% recycled materials. Which of course makes these candles the perfect gift.
No risk worrying that you're picking a scent someone wont like when it comes to gifting because they all smell so amazing. I can definitely rationalize this
purchase ( 6 oz. $32). And I better because it'll now be a staple in my home.
An ENVIRONMENT that smells
pretty makes me feel pretty.
I got mine ROLLING GREENS ON BEVERLY BLVD. AND GARDNER.
Go to www.tatinecandles.com to check out the entire line there.
