KERPLUNK makes my all time favorite stainless steel coffee tumbler.
Why? Because of the lid of course! It's all about how the shape of the lid and lip feels when it hits my mouth. Drinking coffee is sensual. If I have to drink it out of a thermal tumbler because I'm on-ze-go, or sipping in bed with two kids in the morning and not wanting to spill a hot bevvy on them (been there, not fun), I want the lip to be as unobtrusive in mouth as possible. I want to get straight to the good stuff without being reminded that I have a hideous piece of plastic in my mouth.
Kerplunk's is perfectly designed. It holds 17oz, has a nice lip and thumb-slide closure which WORKS by the way.
I also appreciate the rubber grip. I am a spiller and this helps with my spasticness.
The colors are stunning and their kids line ($8.99)is adorable (you probably have seen at Whole Foods) and my daughter is of course obsessed with her princess bottle. Anything to get her to drink water! Also their version of a sippy cup rocks too. ($10.99)
