Like keratin and other treatments, you must not use sulfates to cleanse your hair…Only sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner may be used (damage remedy / dry remedy / men’s pureformance / scalp benefits / co-wash from Aveda all work great). Sulfates will reduce the effectiveness. We tested this as well and it’s true.
The silk molecules do not sit on top of hair like keratin (with keratin think lamination) rather they penetrate and fill in the hair strands smoothing out roughness and eliminating frizz, puffiness, dryness and damage. I haven’t experienced results like this before. It’s botanical hair treatment on steroids.
