The gorgeous Danielle Crouch of ISLAND SPRAY TAN showed up at my apt. with her goodies including a giant pop up brown tent and bag of organic tanning mixtures.  Within minutes I was in said tent being sprayed with her custom line of odorless solution (infused with antioxidants, skin tighteners and moisturizers – a tan AND body treatment in one) and I was in SAFE tanning heaven. Hooray!

Danielle, a former sun worshiper and tanning bed addict told me about her experience with malignant melanoma, all before 30 years old, which inspired her to create a safe way to get a gorgeous glow on – a very powerful story which scared the crap out of me about the sun.

Her elite mobile service has been the insider go-to airbrush tan of top busy professionals, tons-o-celebs and peeps in the know (like you peeps).

Island Spray Tan has a bunch of packages for bridal parties, custom packages, etc.  For the most part they run around $125 each.  She services from L.A. to Santa Barbara, San Diego, Bev Hills, and just about everywhere in So Cal.

Follow her aftercare instructions and it should last 7- 10 days.

My color is gorgeous.  I look rested, feel sexy and look like I've been in the Caribbean for the weekend.

LASHES! LASHES AND MORE LASHES! MAKE UP MANDY ON MELROSE

Being a lash extension junkie has it's up and downs.  It's a $$$ habit worthy of needing a second job and the main prob is that once you start you simply…cannot…stop. I'm on my third year of non-stop extensions.  That is, until I had my baby 6 weeks ago.  What can I say. I let myself go.  Each and every last lash…down the drain with so many diapers (ok diapers didn't go down the drain but I dig the alliteration).  Oh the horrors. I looked like an Alien. Or what I imagine Phyliss Diller looked like before she went to bed. Scary.

Extensions are like crack. No one is safe from their surly grip. Can you say Intervention? Impossible. After seeing the amazing difference in your eyes…no, your whole face with gorgeous, long, dark lashes, you too will be dropping $100 a month to keep these up.  (Oh crap, my hubby will kill me if he reads this). With lashes, you don't need mascara (I simply cannot wear it no matter how waterproof. It smudges within seconds on me) or really even any make up at all!

PRODUCT OBSESSION – ERNO LASZLO – TOTAL FACE AND BODY PROTECTION SPF 30

Seems I can never get the right sun block – too thick, too greasy, too zinc-y, too watery…Yes, I have a few faves, and now I am adding to the mix one from my fave line, ERNO LASZLO.

A 7 oz tube is $42.00 and it's worth it.  Smells divine, first of all, goes on like butta – must be the shea butter (aha!).  It's packed with green tea extract, Vitamin E and sea water.  Maybe it's all these natural ingredients that make it feel so non-chemically or drugstore-ish.  It feels really pure, my face is nice and matte and I don't have that feeling like I'm going to be all broken out by the end of the day.  If you're ready for an extra special sunblock, I say go for this one.  (btw, I can't get enough of the gorgeous tube).
