I recently experienced the phenomenal Midollo di Bamboo hair treatment, Thermal and Cold Cauterization for extremely damaged hair at the gorgeous and tres glamorous boutique VITO ESPOSITO SALON in Beverly Hills. The brilliant and talented Vito performed this outstanding nourishing treatment (ooh and a fab trim and color touch up!) while I sipped on-the-spot handmade cappuccinos and discussed all things hair restoration with the uber-educated Vito.
A little back story: Vito is a premier stylist, rocking the hair industry for over 20 years. He's taught hair cutting and styling in Rome and Milan for the reputable hair industry giants of Wella Professionals and L'OREAL and styled hair for the runway shows of numerous elite companies like Versace and Dolce & Gabbana. While living in the U.K. Vito taught and worked at Toni & Guy as well as the Vidal Sassoon Academy. In L.A., he worked at Jose' Eber Atelier Salon before opening this stunning new salon. In other words, he's a master of his craft. The salon itself is beyond beautiful – clean, minimal Italian design with an outdoor rooftop lounge where you can chill while your hair is in process mode.
But what's also so striking about his new spot is the long list of hair nourishing treatments, not to mention salon services such as hair removal, waxing, nails, make up and facials. He uses the most amazing products from Italy that you wont find anywhere else. After my treatment my normally brittle and dry hair was shinier, softer and moving in a way it hasn't in months. In fact, I'm going to go back next month for another treatment to really seal the deal.
Vito is a gem and so is this jewel box of a salon. Upscale upscale. My mother in law would love.
