1. Make DIY Skin Care. Here are a few of my favorite ingredients:
Avocado is hydrating and nourishing, with naturally occurring vitamins A and E—it’s great for masks.
Honey is healing, hydrating, clarifying, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and pH balancing. It’s great in skin cleansers, masks, and exfoliants. Remember to use raw (unpasteurized) honey; you don’t want to kill this ingredient’s beneficial bacteria.
Oats have moisturizing, anti-inflammatory, and healing properties. They’re perfect in skin cleansers and masks.
2. Eat more vegetables.
Vegetables come straight from nature and are perfectly made to nurture our skin from within. Their high antioxidant, vitamin, mineral, and fiber contents make them one of the most important food groups for skin health. Most people don’t eat enough vegetables. According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), less than 14 percent of Americans consume the recommended amount of 2 to 3 cups (weight varies) of vegetables daily. Stop for a moment, and add up the number of vegetable servings you ate yesterday. Did you have six or more servings?
I recommend at least 3 cups of vegetables per day. You may be wondering how you’ll fit all that in. Here’s how: Eat at least 2 servings of veggies with each of your three meals, eat extras for snacks, and you’ve easily surpassed the recommended minimum.

1.Cleansing CareLait VIP O2 (every morning and evening) To clean your skin and prevent devitalized skins, apply a small amount of Lait VIP O2 to your face, neck and décolleté. Lightly massage for emulsification and then remove with damp cotton or rinse off with cold water. Repeat as required for complete removal of any impurities and makeup, then dry with tissue.
2.ExfoliatorLotion P50 PIGM 400 (every morning and evening) To gently exfoliate, purify, clean and regenerate the epidermis, apply a few drops of Lotion P50 PIGM 400 on a cotton pad (damp for the first two weeks only), and gently pat over your face, neck and décolleté. This multifunction lotion is the cornerstone of the Biologique Recherche methodology, it rebalances the pH of the skin for epidermal reconditioning and improves the efficacy of all Biologique Recherche products applied after it. Light redness and tingling sensation is expected if the skin pH is imbalanced – do not stop the use of the lotion, use it on damp cotton and the sensation will decrease after a few days. This product should not be combined with any other exfoliating product.
3.MasksMasque VIP O2 (once to twice a week) To revitalize the skin and brighten the complexion, apply Masque VIP O2 to your face, neck and décolleté. Leave on for 15 to 20 minutes then rinse off with cold water. Masque Visolastine + (once to twice a week) To durably moisturize the skin and strengthen the skin’s barrier to protect against dehydration, apply a thin layer of Masque Visolastine + all over your face, neck and décolleté. Leave the mask on for 15 to 20 minutes, then rinse off with lukewarm water. This mask provides a sensation of comfort and softness.
4.SerumsSérum VG Tensil (every morning) To tone and firm the skin, as well as smoothe fine lines and wrinkles, apply a few drops of Sérum VG-Tensil all over your face, neck and décolleté in a light ascending massage until the product has been completely absorbed. Sérum Collagène Natif (every morning, after the Sérum VG Tensil) To hydrate and restore the epidermis, as well as tighten the pores, apply a few drops of Sérum Collagène Natif on clean skin over the whole face, neck, and décolleté in a light ascending massage until the product has been completely absorbed. APPROVED USES

Are there any reasons why I should not use products within the Restylane® family? (Contraindications)
To ensure a safe procedure, your doctor will talk to you about your medical history to determine if you are an appropriate candidate for treatment. You should not use products within the Restylane family if:
• You have severe allergies with a history of severe reactions (anaphylaxis)
• You are allergic to lidocaine or to any of the gram-positive bacterial proteins used to make hyaluronic acid
• You are prone to bleeding or have been diagnosed with a bleeding disorder
Are there other precautions that I should discuss with my doctor?
• Tell your doctor if you are breastfeeding, pregnant, or trying to become pregnant. The safety of these products for use during pregnancy, or in women who are breastfeeding, has not been studied
• Restylane, Restylane-L, Restylane® Lyft with Lidocaine, Restylane Refyne and Restylane Defyne are intended to treat facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds. Restylane and Restylane- L are also intended for lip enhancement. Restylane® Lyft with Lidocaine is also intended for injection in the dorsal hand to correct volume loss. Treatments in other areas of the face or body have not been evaluated in clinical studies.
• The safety and effectiveness of Restylane® Silk for areas other than the lips and perioral area have not been evaluated in clinical studies.
• Tell your doctor if you have any history of scarring, particularly thick and stiff scars, or any pigmentation (skin color) disorders. These side effects can occur with hyaluronic acid fillers in general.
• Tell your doctor if you are planning other laser treatments or a chemical peel, as there is a possible risk of inflammation at the treatment site if these procedures are performed after treatment
• Patients who experience skin injury near the site of injection with these products may be at a higher risk for side effects
• Tell your doctor if you are on any medications to decrease your body’s immune response (immunosuppressive therapy). Using these medications may increase your risk of bruising or bleeding at the gel injection site.
• Tell your doctor if you are using any “blood thinners” such as aspirin, warfarin, or any other medications that affect bleeding. Using these medications may increase your risk of bruising or bleeding at the gel injection site.
• The use of these products on gel injection sites with skin sores, pimples, rashes, hives, cysts, or infections should be postponed until healing is complete. Use of product in these areas could delay healing or make your skin problems worse.
Tell your doctor if you have diseases, injuries, or disabilities of the hand.
What are the possible side effects?
The most commonly observed side effects are swelling, redness, pain, bruising, headache, tenderness, lump formation, itching at the injection site, and impaired hand function. These are typically mild in severity and typically resolve in less than 7 days in nasolabial folds and less than 14 days in lips. Serious but rare side effects include delayed onset infections, recurrence of herpetic eruptions, and superficial necrosis at the injection site.
One of the risks with using this product is unintentional injection into a blood vessel. The chances of this happening are very small, but if it does happen, the complications can be serious, and may be permanent. These complications, which have been reported for facial injections, can include vision abnormalities, blindness, stroke, temporary scabs, or permanent scarring of the skin.
As with all skin injection procedures, there is a risk of infection.

Alas! I searched far and wide to find the best microblade artists in town for you. And here she is: Julia Faria.
Why did it take me two years? Or is it three? Because bad microbladed (is that even a word?!) brows are everywhere! I had clients asking me who to go to – I had nada. Mostly because if I have not tried something, I cannot and will not speak to it. How can I recommend a procedure if I have not personally tried it? You need to do your research into the studio that you’re going to get your brows done to make sure the workers have been properly trained by someone like The Brow Studio (https://thebrowstudiobycc.com/) so they know what they’re doing. If you don’t, you might end up with wonky eyebrows!
At this point in Groomed LA’s ten year tenure, I rarely actively seek providers. We are flooded with invitations to experience the latest and greatest in beauty, aesthetics, healing, etc. But the the micoblade artists I had been pitched didn’t feel right to me.
