Tried out the LASH DIP today to see what all the bru-ha-ha is about.
Did I just say bru-ha-ha?
Unlike extensions, Lash Dip involves no glue or artificial anything. It's simply a coat, very much like mascara, put on the lashes to look exactly like you are wearing mascara.
And that is does. It looks like you are wearing mascara. A lot of it. And if that's a look you are into, this is perfect.
The dip, a coating of mascara like ingredients, except longer lasting (up to 6 weeks) and without the smudge, is applied to the lashes in only a semi-un-comfy way (if you've had extensions, you can deal with it) and left to dry for 8 hours while you go about your day.
It's WATERPROOF (though stung my eyes like crazy once it was done), CREATES LASTING LIFT AND CURVE, SCULPTS LASHES, SEPARATES LASHES (mine actually stuck together and balled up), INCREASES LASH VOLUME AND EXTENDS LENGTH.
My lashes, especially my lower ones, which never get any love, are noticeably way thicker, longer, darker. It's a made-up look, not an uber-natural look (say, from using Latisse, where your lashes are just ridiculously long) or the look of extensions which is always a mixed bag (unless you use Kelly Mattson, then they will look beyond natural).
But if you want to have that finished make-up-on look without taking the time to have to actually do it, this could work.
I am sorta loving it for the lower lashes, but I'm not so sure the price works for me.
It'll run you $250 for a first dip, which includes a free touch up in 2 weeks and then in around 6 you re-start up again. Hmm…I think for a look that is NOT natural, why not slap on mascara?
