Doc Zara’s Custom Rejuvenation Complex Treatment at CRMC

Who knew that right around the corner (basically!) from my house is a little gem tucked away upstairs in the building on the corner of Santa Monica and Fairfax! It’s called the Cosmetic Rejuvenation Medical Center and this is where the wonderful Doc Zara presides. This funky spot, in a place you would never expect, is doing some excellent custom treatments. I could not wait to meet this “in-the-know” injector and leading clinician and even bette – have her do one of her signature facial treatments on me. It is especially fun when I discover a med spa that I had no idea even existed, and one with major services of all kinds!

Doc Zara, lovely in every way imaginable, and I discussed what I could use to freshen up. I have previously visited this clinic to get Juvederm injectable filler put into my lips, just to give them a little plump. As I loved the treatment so much, I’ve come back to ask her to freshen up my skin next. As it is mid-summer, lasers for my skin type is not idea, so we discussed an awesome specialty that only Doc Zara does. She calls it the Custom Rejuvenation Complex Treatment .

What is it? She uses a specially formulated mix that consists of Botox,Hyaluronic acid, growth factors and vitamins. With the help of AQUAGOLD^® fine touch™ microneedling device, the products delivers it right into the dermis.

The treatment felt amazing – was fast – and I walked out with radiant ( if a little red for the day ) skin. Next day I was luminous!! I loved this so much and plan to do it every few months. I was immediately excited and falling in love with it on the spot!

Critical Cycles and CicLAvia!

CicLAvia is coming up on August 14 – if you don’t know what that is…

CicLAvia catalyzes vibrant public spaces, active transportation and good health through car-free streets. CicLAvia engages with people to positively transform our relationship with our communities and with each other.

Basically – Wilshire Blvd is CAR FREE from 9 to 4pm and it’s a day to get out and bike!! Yes, it’s get out of the spin class and onto the real road!

I am planning on going this year with my kids, who so need to get on the road with their bikes too – but not before heading (online only) to Critical Cycles and picking out one of their high style and high quality urban bikes. At crazy unbeatable prices (like $219!!) it’s a no brainer! The Harper is a hot seller right now and the Beaumont 7-speed (Dutch step-thru style) is also a hit. (I think this is more me – though I can’t decide what color – they are all amazing!)
